2025 Summer Member Only Raffle Terms and Conditions
The Member only raffle is being conducted by the Aroid Society of Australia Inc (ASA) (IA56997), an incorporated association in Queensland with its physical address at Aroid Society of Australia Inc 42 Chevallum Road Palmwoods QLD 4555
The total value of prizes is $325.00 The first prize is Anthurium Red Beauty x veitchii (narrow) valued at $150.00 The second prize is Philodendron spiritus-sancti donated by Hai from Templex Nursery valued at $90.00 The third prize is Monstera obliqua filamentous valued at $50.00 donated by Andy Baker and the fourth prize is two ASA posters valued and twelve months membership valued at $35.00
Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash.
Entrants must be a current financial member of the ASA at the time of ticket purchasing through to and until the conclusion of the drawing of the raffle.
Raffle tickets are $5 each. A maximum of 1000 tickets are offered for sale.
The raffle commences on the 23rd of November 2024 at 8:00PM and closes on 7th of December 2025 at 1100am
Tickets in the raffle are sold by (a) ASA members only online area or (b) in person in New South Wales or Queensland by authorised representatives of the ASA.
To purchase tickets please access the ASA Members Raffles page in the members only area of the website. Members have been communicated on how to access this area via email.
Residents of Western Australia, Northern Territory and Tasmania are eligible to purchase tickets, with the ASA to pay for half of the plant concierge and the ticket purchaser to pay for the other half.
Due to quarantine restrictions on plants, overseas members are ineligible to purchase tickets as prizes cannot be sent outside of Australia.
Any person directly engaged in drawing the raffle is ineligible to purchase tickets.
Complete entries must include a name and a telephone number.
Entries will be sent by email or provided in person to entrants after payment is received.
The raffle will be drawn on 7th of December 2025 at 1100am at the 2025 SEQ Christmas party meet up.
Winners will be notified by phone within 5 days of the prize draw, and winners’ details will be published on the ASA’s Facebook ,Instagram, website and Society’s newsletter titled “Aroida Australis” .
The ASA reserves the right to require each winner to submit their ticket stub as proof of identity and purchase. Proof of identification and entry considered suitable for verification is at the sole discretion of ASA.
Prizes will be sent to the winner's postal address within 1 month of the prize draw. Once the prize has been sent, the ASA takes no responsibility for any damage or delay or if the prize is lost in transit
