The meet up will occur in Woombye, Sunshine Coast, QLD (Address emailed on the Wednesday night prior to the meet up) on Saturday 9th of Mayand will start at 10AM and conclude at 12:30PM. The event will be limited to 32 tickets (25 ASA members and 7 guests) with members permitted to bring along one guest with guest tickets limited to allow ASA members priority.
The neat garden is the creation of former nursery owners Harry and Noela. is based on a steep 2000sq m block with rock paths, wide lawns and borders, featuring an extensive exotic plant collection.
The garden contains a large and diverse collection of Aroids feature throughout the garden and many other species of rare and unusual plants that you won’t see growing in southeast Qld, it’s a garden, that you must see!
The garden was featured on gardening Australia few years ago and is visiting by local garden clubs with great feedback.
Harry and Noela will have plenty of plants for sale which will be cash only so please come prepared. There is also no ASA member sales at the event however if members could please being along a plant for the raffle it would be greatly appreciated. There is limited parking available so if able can you please look to carpool. Harry and Noela will also have someone available to assist with parking. If you have any mobility issues, there will be about 2-3 parks available in the driveway. As this is a sloping block with plenty of undulations, please wear flat comfortable shoes and clothing and bring along a hat, sunscreen and a drink bottle. Morning tea will be available as well
