The Aroid Society of Australia and Growth Technology are proud to present Floresta (translating to “forest” in Portugese), a plant fair celebrating the beauty of foliage and flowers, and all the people who love them. This is a market for all growers of rare and unusual plants, and innovative or handmade plant-related businesses, to connect with plant enthusiasts, novice and expert alike.
Applications are now open for vendors at our first Sydney Floresta on October 31st and November 1st, 2026, with bump in on Friday October 30th, at the Paddington Town Hall.

We welcome all small plant and plant-related businesses to apply, preference will be given to those who grow or make their products themselves. Applications close on June 30th, 2026 (please contact events@aroids.net after this date to be waitlisted), with all applicants emailed regarding their spot by July 15th, 2026. If successful, an invoice will be issued by the Aroid Society of Australia payable within 14 days from invoice.
Stall Fees
Stalls are priced as low as possible, as we are a not-for-profit incorporated society. Stalls are priced at $40/sqm, with a minimum of 3x3m stall. Please note that discounted rates are available for current financial ASA member-owned businesses of $35/sqm (you can join any time online here) and NFP plant societies of $35/sqm each, with a minimum of 3x3m stall bookable. Stalls are only available for the full two day event.
Paddington Town Hall is a heritage building on Oxford Street, with heavy weekend foot traffic. Kindly note that the loading dock of the venue can only accommodate vehicles up to 5.5m in length, and public parking venues generally have a 2.1m clearance (The Entertainment Precinct) or 2.2m clearance (The Gordon). Street parking for vehicles over 7.5m length is limited in built up areas to 1hr by the NSW government. There are private parking spaces available in the area that can be booked for 3-day use via websites like Parkhound and Parking Made Easy for larger vehicles. This is the stallholder’s responsibility. Please consider these restrictions prior to applying.
