Jungle Paradise is a family owned and operated business specializing in orchids and rare and unusual house plants. We are mainly a retail walk-in operation, but we can ship within the United States.
Our stock usually consists of small lots of a great variety of items, so the offerings change frequently. You can call or E-Mail us with a specific request, or if something you like is not priced on the page. We do not publish a printed catalog.
HOW TO BUY: We suggest a $25 minimum order to make your freight dollars go farther. We do not take credit cards, unless you are buying the PayPal special sale items on the Sale Pieces page. For everything else, if you see something you like, please send an e-mail with your request; we will confirm by return e-mail. Send a check or money order, or make a PayPal payment for the exact amount of the plant(s). When we receive payment, we will mark the plant 'SOLD,' ship it to you, and bill you the exact cost of the freight. We operate on the honor system for freight reimbursement; so far all of our customers have been honest and sent it right back. This applies to items purchased through the shopping cart as well.
Our normal shipping method is USPS Priority Mail. If you wish a different method, please let us know by e-mail.
Please specify in-pot or bare root. Most plants are grown in clay pots. If your selection happens to be in plastic, we will ship with the pot and consider it bare root. In all cases, we will be in touch with you by e-mail to advise you on the status of your order.
Planning to be in northeastern Pennsylvania? Why not stop in--we have many more items that are either too small, too large, or too delicate to ship, but are available as walk-in purchases. Browsers are always welcome. We are located 16 miles north of Interstate Route 80 exit 236--Route 487 North (Bloomsburg/Lightstreet). Call or write for detailed directions. We are about 3 hours west of New York City, 1 3/4 hours east of State College, PA, about 1 1/2 hours northeast of Harrisburg, and an hour southwest of Scranton.
